Tried their mcd breakfast. I always have the habit of going mcd in different countries and find food that is not available here. They have macaroni and milk tea and it's so delicious! We have no mood for thrilling rides when we reached, maybe because we were too tired. We went for more shows than rides. We were told by friends to go the highest point first instead of the starting. Thank god, we avoided the crowd, crowd consists of only AT. We left the park early as we didn't want to squeeze with people.
Went Central for dinner, Butao Ramen. It's the top 5 ramen in HK and it's the best ramen I ever had! The soup is thick, even thicker than those good ramen in sg. Tabao Yung Kee again but it doesn't tastes as good.
Day 5: Check in to Butterfly Morrison
LG and me checked out Dorsett.
Breakfast at Australian Dairy Co. It's so damn awesome please! I love the scramble eggs!!! Their yuenyang tastes better than other cha chaan teng also, I think it's their milk. So damn good! Lucky us, we skipped the long queue again. Muahaha! We then head to Yee Shun Dairy to try. Not as good as Australian but apparently they are famous for their bean curd.
Head back to hotel to take our luggages and off to Butterfly. The hotel is older and service is not as good as dorsett. I was rather disappointed as Butterfly is double the price of Dorsett. His friend made the stay better. He upgraded our room and gave us a high floor. We even benefitted by having a super late checkout :)
We didn't plan anything for that day but just to walk around causeway bay. Tried Agnes B cafe then we took a bus to Hung Hom to have the legendary Hong Kong burger, Si Sun Fastfood. No joke, the burger is the best I have ever eaten. It's so nice till we tabao another one back even though we were so full.
Baboon called and asked if we want to go lam fong yuen to eat. Of course yes! But not as nice though. We went Lin Heung to try their dim sum, since it's nearby but they serve dim sum only till 4pm. Pass by Wah Fung Roast Meat and went in. Can you imagine the amount of food we had? Haha!
We made our way back to our hotels and causeway bay shops close quite late. Walk around and we spotted a sushi restaurant that has promotion of 50% after 10pm. Hehe. Noted down and will try it someday.
Day 6: Disney
My long awaited Disney! I am more looking forward to the shop actually. Haha. Checked in with baboon to Disney Hotel and their service is up! But AT is everywhere!!! Worse than ocean park.
The first thing we did when we reached the park was to asked what time the characters are coming out and where. Benefit of having experience working in a theme park. Haha.
I was so happy when I took picture with pooh. Don't ask me why, I literally feel like a kid. I queued twice and pooh actually recognized me. Thinking back is damn embarrassing lah, the person inside must be thinking this girl siao one, so old already still behave like that. Haha.
We tried only those thrilling rides and it's almost time. Spent an hour plus shopping in the shops. So disappointed that they have so little variety of pooh. I wanted to get a big one but they only have a medium size one. And why they pooh is baby pooh?! Not classic one meh! I like the classic one eh :( spent so much there, get some stuff for yan ming. The pooh hat is a waste of money but it's too cute too resist! LG is so sweet, he didn't stop me buying nonsense stuff as he knows I have been waiting for that day. Awwww... Cus usually he would. Haha. I love the hp casing so much! It's so cute! But so ex :( 30 plus eh. Most expensive casing I have ever buy.
The night ended with super pretty fireworks! We shopped a little more to let the crowd spread out first and yes, we don't have to squeeze in the train :)
Went to try the 50% sushi! The restaurant is called Sushi One. We ordered so much that it's still so expensive. But not bad! The sashimi is fresh :)
Day 7:
It's another relaxing day! We woke up late. Went Huang Da Xian temple then we went Mongkok to help my sis to get Lego. Changing money at DBS is so much higher than changing from money changer. Luckily my sis told me before I fly. Walked around mongkok and met baboon to have Ah Yat. Super atas and ex but for the 2 star Michelin roasted goose. Not bad lah but don't really worth the money. Each person is like 50 to 60 sgd. last minute shopping at causeway bay then back to hotel.
Day 8:
As usual, nothing planned. Went to have breakfast at Lei Bistro for dim sum. It's nice eh! Shopped at causeway bay again. Their F21 changes clothes within a day sia. I cannot find the clothes I saw the night before and there are new designs. Went back hotel to nap and check out at 3:30pm. Late right, thanks to his friend. Hehe. Then went back shopping and dinner at Tsui Wah. Slurps.
We went airport around 11plus when our flight is 6am. Save money. Cus after calculation we need to fork out 200 plus if we were to stay another night. After this, we will not book this kind of shitty timing anymore. Super tiring lah. LG didn't sleep as I keep falling asleep. He keep helping me to find different positions to sleep, shifting the chairs, changing his sitting positions :( he is so sweet!
Overall it's a super tiring and fulfilling trip. The food is good and I like how we don't have to rush around as we have ample of time. Sad that there isn't much sales and nothing to buy. But I would definitely prefer good weather more than shopping! Missing the food now :( I WANT CHA CHAAN TENG!
