Bangkok - 24-31 Jan

Ended our 1 week bangkok trip. A lot of people say why go bangkok for so many days, got things to do meh. But yes, we have a lot of places to go.

24 jan - checked in Budacco
Felt bad to fly on boyfriend birthday. Luckily he is very understanding :) our flight timing is quite bad due to sales ticket. We bought our tickets for 170 only. Cheap cheap. Checked in to Budacco and had dinner at Black Canyon. Love their coffee!

25 Jan - Chatuchak & Terminal 21
Chatuchak. We reach there so early and lots of the shops are not opened. Shopped so much and my loots weighed like 6kg. Damn heavy please.

Headed down to Terminal 21. A very interesting shopping centre but nothing to buy, stuff is relatively more expensive.

We were quite early so went to central world for Greyhound cafe and After you. After you is so damn freaking good please! The chocolate spear is normal but the shibuya toast is awesome!!!

26 Jan - Grand Palace, Chinatown & Asiastique

It's a tourist day, we went temples visiting. Went to grand palace and wat pho.

Chinatown after that to have shark fin and tried their kway chap. Behind chinatown has this wholesale place but generally they sell everything wholesale, especially shoes. They only allow 6 pairs of the same design and worse is that they don't sell individual pair -.- anw, we randomly walked to a street and spotted a wholesale nails stuff! My heaven. I spent like 80 bucks there. But trust me, I bought a lot. If only they carry more stuff. So, I am carrying 6kg of stuff back again.

Wanted to take a boat to asiatique but it was late so abandon that idea. Asiatique is pretty eh! Tried mango tango and it's a disappointment.

27 Jan - Siloam cooking class & Siam

We signed up for cooking class at Siloam cooking class. It's a half day class including going to the market. It was interesting and the food is nice! (Of course, we cook our own portion) hahaha! Surprisingly that all our food taste different when we were using the same ingredients. Our menu is tom yum goong, phat thai, red curry, mango sticky rice and fish cake.

MBK, Siam discovery and Siam Night market after that. Tried Petit Audrey and really so so. Nothing fantastic. Walked around and so happy that Adidas is having sales. Bought their tops at 20 bucks. Good deal man. Initially we thought there is no more night market over there but luckily we stayed a bit longer. Gave the bbq fish a second chance as ah Teng wanted to try. Still don't quite like it.

28 Jan - Platinum, Central world & Big C
It's platinum day! Woke up slightly later, walked around pratunam and headed over to platinum. Guys have more stuff to buy eh I feel. Maybe due to my current job, they are more particular about our dressing so I didn't get much. So sad..

Tried the famous Soi 19 wantan mee. Soup tastes better and we got a shock of our lives as there is huge pinkish worm in baboon's bowl. Eeeewwww

Central world after we are done with platinum. Had after you again as it's so good!

Then big c for grocery shopping. Didn't dare to get a lot as we scare we cannot bring back.

29 Jan - Santorini park, Swiss Sheep Farm & Talad Rot Fai

We wanted to go by the recommended way to go Cha am, near Hua Hin for Santorini park but we took a taxi instead. The recommended way is to go victory monument then take the van which costs 160 baht each to Cha Am. From Cha Am then take taxi to Santorini park which costs 1000 baht per car for to and fro.

When we were on our way to victory monument, we casually asked the taxi uncle how much does he quote for Santorini park as his car is comfortable. We managed to get 2700 baht. As there are 3 of us so quite worth, pay a little more for the luxury.

Our first stop is Swiss Sheep Farm. The place is beautiful but small. Nothing much to do and so freaking hot. I paid extra to see Alpaca and I freaked out when they are not fenced up. I pulled baboon in with me. They are so cute and gentle!!!

Next stop is Santorini park. Pretty place but nothing to do and eat. I like it partly because is not crowded but really nothing to do, only for photo taking.

We requested the uncle to drop us at Talad Rot Fai (train night market) instead of hotel as we ended early. (Yes, save cab fare as it was quite a distance from pratunam. A very interesting and cheaper night market. Love the street food there and lots of arty farty stuff.

30 Jan - Platinum & Thong Lor

I fell sick, haha. Too weak. But my philosophy is to keep walking.

We have completed our itinerary and we just fill the day with anything. Haha.

We went back for the wantan mee, yes, even though there is worm.

Walked platinum for a while and we head down to Thong Lor. We didn't wanted to go there but we really have nothing to do so just go down and have a look. Ties Roast cafe. It's good! Really good! It's at Soi 13. Randomly walked down the street and saw a uncle selling desserts. Seems popular.

Back to hotel to pack and massage.

31 Jan
Last day loh. Ah Teng is still not feeling well and we extended the room for 4 hours for her to sleep. Baboon and me cabbed down to central world to da bao food for her. Tried their food court and the fish maw soup is so nice!

My luggage exceeded 25 kg :( initially the airport staff don't let us proceed but luckily she allow in the end. Heng ah..

And yup, home sweet home!

I shall end my post with our loots. Kind of crazy but that's not all. Haha.
