Annyeong! My 12 days Korea trip has ended. It is rather long actually, I feel like I was there for super long. I am typing this post while I am in the flight back to Singapore! :) It was quite a impromptu trip for me actually. I only decided to join baboon and Shermin 1 month before this trip. After my leave is approved, I proceeded to book my air ticket. No promo during that time and I forgo scoot as their timing is damn sucky. I booked Korean air in the end at 741. I wanted to book cathay as I want to go Hong Kong alone. I miss the food eh but boyfriend disapproved. He say Hong Kong is too dangerous to travel alone :( so direct flight it shall be. This is my first solo trip! For 3 days I mean. Haha! I will be flying alone and staying in a hotel alone for 3 days. Brother is nice enough to lend me his Go Pro, so below pictures are taken using go pro and my phone :)
So my itinerary is as below:

I chiong down to the airport after work and I actually ot on that day to clear my stuff. Wth. I chiong until I don't have mood to fly lah.
22 oct
Reach Korea early morning and took the airport bus to myeongdong to find baboon. Ah teng and her were there 3 days earlier and they were super nice to share room with me as I am alone. Issac toast was waiting for me when I reach myeongdong! Hehe. Love the weather eh, it was super cooling please! Basically below is where we went after checking in to our guesthouse, IB ville
1. Lotte mart
2. Hangang river: we wanted to cycle but it was too cold to cycle. We were shivering when we reach there and the taxi uncle actually suggested us to go sauna. Haha!
3. Express bus terminal: after the failed cycling, we went there to shop. It is a cheaper place to buy clothes but all are long sleeves :(
4. Banpo bridge: we waited in the cold for 1 hour then the show was actually canceled. We didn't know until we call the tourism board lah. Haha! Waste our time to sitting beside the river but quite romantic lah. We were totally not prepared for the coldness and 3 of us were shivering like siao. HAHHAA! Good experience.
Baboon and Ah teng know this girl doing part time at the guest house and she bring us to this pub to chill at night, call Thursday Party at Hongdae. Love their apple beer, played beer pong and darts. Fun!

We booked the dmz tour. Basically this is a tour which brings you to the border of south and North Korea. Interesting indeed. It's a day your as they will bring us to all sorts of museum before that. The main highlight is going to this border which is controlled by UN and south soldiers. The check is rather strict and photography is only allowed when the guide tell us. We are able to the line separating the 2 countries and North Korea soldiers guarding their house. We were led by a UN soldier and he will control the time and area which we can take pictures. Very good experience!
Went myeongdong to eat the street food at night and walk around that area

We went out late so we only manage to cover Ehwa university. We bought quite a lot I can say. Cab back to guesthouse then we went down to Kim Hyung Joong's fried chicken shop; Jaksal. Besides liking him part, his chicken is really nice eh! The standard is still the same as last year. Yum yum! I was sick that day and I am damn seh lah. Must be due to the change in weather. Keep spamming medicine and beer. I never mix them lah. I got give time allowance.

Hyehwa university. This is near baboon and Shermin uni when they were there for exchange last year. They say it was nice to shop so we went there! Not bad..
We went to hongdae at night for Thanks Nature cafe (sheep cafe). It is so cute!!!! The sheep are super cute and they are not scare of human lah! Aigoooo
