A long awaited trip, finally it's here! Just nice, it allows me to have a break from my new job. Don't say I just started work then take leave hor, I told them during my interview ok.
8 hours bus ride is damn crazy please but luckily I can sleep anywhere whenever I am tired.
This trip was totally planned by Ah Teng as 她是怡保人. Haha. The trips started with ah teng parents' bian mian. It's good eh! We went to Cameron highlands on the first day and it was damn cooling! Walking slowly around all the farms is what we need after a long bus rides. The strawberries are scam! Haha! It wasn't big and apparently they are sour when they look super red. Ah teng's sisters then brought us to have local food. Yumz. The day did not end so early. We headed over to ah teng's house to have our hair dyed. Who tried dying hair at 12am? Haha. Feel so bad as her sisters are more tired than us I guess. Anw, I dyed my hair red! I wanted chocolate colour but they say it will become gold after the colour dropped. So they recommended me this red, which will look like hot red under the sun but not so obvious indoor. Damn good recommendation please! I love the colour so much!
Went to fetch boyfriend at 4am. Yes, we only slept for half an hour. Super tiring please.
The next 2 days were temple visiting / continue eating itinerary. I think the nicest was dou hua! A simple dou hua can be so good. Usually I don't eat dou hua, I can't finish a bowl by myself but this one I definitely could! It was even a drive through dou hua which we can order and eat in the car and pay afterwards. I think you won't see it in Singapore lah. And the Assam laksa under the trees! It's super nice! The soup base is the best!
Really thank ah teng's family for the super hospitality! They are so friendly and always trying to squeeze time to let us try their local food. Super super touched! :)
