We booked the air ticket last year when it was on sales and coincidentally we are flying off on Valentine. We only realised it after the booking as the whole booking process was so chaotic that I just anyhow choose a date and also after confirming that it didnt clash with any exams. haha.
We went Pattaya for 3 days and BKK for 5 days.
Booked a Villa for Pattaya and it was freaking awesome! bungalow, swimming pool and car to ourselves with all the necessities ready for you. (including all the kitchen and BBQ stuff. how awesome is that?!) We spent quite a long time in the Villa and strictly speaking, we only went out 1 day to play the sports. Tried Go kart, ATV and what off road thingy. Also Jet Ski.
Lots of happening stuff happened for the night life but it's rather inappropriate to mention here. They also rented a big bike and it's really good.
But, LG and me suay to the max i swear. The bike went out of oil twice on us. We still managed to push the bike back to the villa the first time but we were so far the second time! We lost our way and we have nothing with us (everything in the car) but thank god LG put 1000baht in his pocket. We seeked help from the motor taxi to buy petrol and obviously they want to 'tai' us..
We managed to reached Walking Street and his friends were not there waiting for us! I was so worried! We can't remember our thai numbers and the locals' phone cant make overseas call! We hopped on to a van taxi to go back to the Villa and that guy went a super ulu place. it freaked me out more and i told LG i want to get down. He asked me observe longer and he said 'you have to trust the taxi when you have nobody to trust' :((
luckily we managed to reach the villa but his friends were all gone (we are supposed to check out that day)! The house maid said they went Walking Street to find us. We asked the house maid to track the thai number from her call history and contact them.
Seriously leh, like happening or what and thank god LG got 1000baht with him if not we are really stuck! :(
Anyway, BKK is awesome! Massage everyday, shopping everyday and tom yam everyday! hehe! If I were to go back one day, it's because of their food and shopping! we could not finish chatuchak and platinum mall. I really admire their traffic, it was so packed yet they are so patient! they are willing to give way to other cars and pedestrains! salute! if it's in Singapore, cfm horn like siao.
They are not as friendly as i thought and the taxi like to 'tai' tourists huh. We wanted them to on the meter but all of them rejected. We have to resort to asking the guard to help us flag for taxi.
Tuk tuk is worse, they like to bring us to all the shops so that they can get free petrol but if you dont want, they wont fetch you. We like to make deal with them, we visit the shops but they have to give us free ride. it works! hahaha!
I really shop a lot! The clothes are all my style! I already restrained myself and I am quite regretted already :( I will definitely go back BKK for sure but definitely not so soon. Explore other countries irst. Hehe. I love the shopping and I love the food! :)
